Today was a historic day that I was surprised to see never happened sooner. From Mahoning Valley to Lake County to Akron to Columbus, Ohio, Tribe fans get a better opportunity to see the development of all the minor leaguers and never have to leave the state to do so. What an exciting development to see how the Tribe has grown their fan base with this move and truly extended it into Columbus. I remember how my friend in Columbus was always a Yankee fan and really enjoyed the Columbus Clippers and their ties to the Yankees. I might add he currently lives in New York as a result.

Now to be a Clipper fan, we can see the Indians grow their fan base and have people coming from Columbus to see the Tribe to cheer on former Clippers. It was a brilliant move and the Tribe front office receives a lot of credit from me for making this announcement and rumor a reality today. Way to go, Tribe!
